MSU football reportedly locks in official visit with linebacker committed to SEC school

Michigan State football has reportedly locked in an official visit with a linebacker currently committed to an SEC school.

Caleb Green of Lee’s Summit, Mo. has reportedly scheduled an official visit with the Spartans for early June. According to reporting from Corey Robinson of 247Sports, Green will take an official visit to Michigan State on June 5.

Green is currently committed to Missouri. He committed to the Tigers last month and is also scheduled to take an official visit to Missouri in late June.

Green is listed as a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 87 in 247Sports’ system. He is ranked as the No. 60 linebacker and No. 11 player from Missouri in the 2027 class. He is also listed as the No. 726 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State extended an offer to Green earlier this week and have quickly made up some ground on his recruitment with an official visit locked in for next month. It appears he is a clear priority target for the Spartans and someone we should put on flip watch moving forward.
