The Detroit Lions will try to reclaim their status as one of the premier teams in the NFC this season. One big factor will be their health. This team will lean on one of the more consistent receivers in the NFL, Amon-Ra St. Brown, to lead the way as he always does. Though they had a down year last season, they still draw huge interest. Part of that lies in their explosive offense with Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Lions will play an international game versus the New England Patriots in Week 10 on Sunday, November 15 in Munich, Germany.
There will be extra motivation for St. Brown to show out due to his German heritage, as his mother is from Leverkusen. He wears a German flag on his helmet each game, and he is very proud of his ties there.
The New England Patriots are a credible opponent and one that just played in the Super Bowl. The Patriots will be adding a star receiver in A.J. Brown very soon. This early game could end up being the battle of star receivers as both St. Brown and A.J. Brown will be getting their fair share of targets. I expect both guys to have monster games and put their best effort forward.
Both teams are super talented everywhere on their roster, which should make for an exciting game. If the Lions come out on top in this matchup, it will be because of a great performance by Amon Ra-St. Brown.
