The Eagles completed the 2026 season with a 10-14 season. Most of the team will be back in 2027 as team captain Myrna Pratt is the only player set to graduate.

Region 4-5A Final

No. 1 Pembroke Pines Charter 1, No. 3 Sebastian River 0: A run in the bottom of the sixth with the difference as the Sharks fell just short on the road against the Jaguars.

Aleena Fonseca, who went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, scored the only run of the night after being driven in by Brielle Martinez. Meanwhile, Destiny Ortega held the Sebastian River bats at bay. The junior relinquished just two hits and a walk while striking out 13 as part of a complete-game shutout.

Stats were unavailable for the Sharks, who finished with a 17-7 record and will graduate three seniors: Gabrielle Espich, Rily Biggers and Anfelina Nicholich.

Region 4-2A Final

No. 2 Oxbridge Academy 8, No. 5 John Carroll Catholic 2: The Rams were denied their second regional title in the last three years after falling on the road against the ThunderWolves.

No. 1 American Heritage 10, No. 5 Okeechobee 1: The Brahmans saw their season and six-game winning streak come to an end after falling on the road to the Patriots, who collected 12 hits to the Okeechobee’s three.

Melaine Bonilla, Hayden Slovenski and Dyani Kayda were the only Brahmans’ players to collect a base knock, with Bonilla hitting a double and scoring the team’s lone run. Slovenski was one of four players on the visiting side to produce a walk.

Charisma Micco took the loss in the circle. Of the 10 runs she allowed, only four were earned.
