Detroit Lions fans react to Thanksgiving game vs. Chicago Bears

After news leaked on Wednesday afternoon that Detroit would host the Chicago Bears in the franchise’s 86th all-time and 81st consecutive Thanksgiving Day game, Lions fans took to social media to express their anticipation and excitement to face Ben Johnson and the Bears during the annual Thanksgiving Day festivities.

This will be the 21st time the two historic franchises have faced off on Thanksgiving, with the Bears holding an all-time 11-9 series advantage. However, Detroit defeated Chicago in 2024 when former Bears head coach Matt Eberflus’ clock mismanagement at the end of the game sealed the Lions’ victory.
