What is the Bucs biggest hole in the roster after the NFL Draft?

ESPN identified outside cornerback depth as Tampa Bay’s biggest remaining roster concern following the 2026 NFL Draft, despite the Buccaneers adding multiple defensive backs this offseason.

Zyon McCollum and Benjamin Morrison give Tampa Bay two starting options on the outside, while the defense also has flexibility inside with players capable of handling nickel responsibilities.

That versatility is part of why the Buccaneers drafted Keionte Scott. Tampa Bay already has multiple defensive backs who can move inside depending on matchups and sub-packages, including Tykee Smith and Jacob Parrish.

The larger concern begins if injuries hit the outside corner rotation. Depth behind the starters remains largely unproven entering training camp, creating some uncertainty about how the secondary would hold up over a full season.

That makes cornerback one of the more interesting positions to monitor moving forward. Tampa Bay has versatility and athleticism in the room, but the long-term stability behind the top names still feels unsettled.
