EVANSVILLE — Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden has welcomed another baby animal.
The zoo announced via Facebook Tuesday that visitors will soon be able to see a baby Humboldt penguin.
The penguin is named Wensleydale, Dale for short. He was born in February to parents Prince and Calypso.
When visiting the zoo, there are presentations at the penguin exhibit at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., as well as feedings at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The zoo is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 365 days a year.
