Man dies after crashing truck at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center

OKALOOSA COUNTY — A 61-year-old Fort Walton Beach man died May 8 after crashing his truck during a medical emergency, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

A white pickup truck.

Who was involved?

The driver of the pickup truck was a 61-year-old man from Fort Walton Beach.

How did the crash happen?

According to the FHP release, the driver of the white pickup truck traveling in the parking lot of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center crashed into a silver truck, which was parked in a legal parking space in the parking lot. The driver was having a medical emergency at the time of the crash. He was taken into the emergency room where he died.
