Anderson was measured at 6 feet 3/4 inches tall without shoes. Listed at 6-foot-3 during his sophomore year, this is on par with most schools that give players an extra two inches in their listed height, as that’s closer to their height in basketball shoes.

After a solid freshman season where he spent the majority of the year coming off the bench (though playing starter’s minutes) Anderson assumed the role of Texas Tech No. 1 (and sometimes only) point guard as a sophomore.
Anderson wound up a third-team All-American, a first-team All-Big 12 selection, and the Big 12 Conference’s most improved player. He averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds, shooting 47.2% overall, 41.5% from 3-point range, and 80.5% on free throws. He set the Texas Tech single-season record with 244 assists and ranks second on the team’s single-season made 3-pointers list with 108 this past season.
