Who, when and where will your team play in the OHSAA baseball tourney?

The tournament trails are set.

High school baseball coaches from around the area met on Sunday, May 10, to figure out their paths to a district championship.

Let’s take a look at who, when and where your favorite team will be playing in this year’s Ohio High School Athletic Association baseball tournament.

Division III District

The Lexington Minutemen will begin their tournament trail at 5 p.m. on May 19 at home against Tiffin Columbian in a sectional semifinal. The winner moved on to travel to play Norwalk at 5 p.m. on May 21 at Norwalk for a sectional championship. The Madison Rams will open their tournament run at 5 p.m. on May 21 at Wapakoneta in a sectional championship game. The winner of the two sectional finals will meet at 2 p.m. on May 26 at Tiffin’s Paradiso Athletic Complex in the district semifinals. The district championship will be at 5 p.m. on May 28 back in Tiffin against the winner of Sylvania Southview, Toledo Rogers, Fremont Ross and Toledo Central Catholic.

The Mansfield Senior Tygers will travel to Lima Shawnee at 5 p.m. on May 19 for a sectional semifinal game. The winner moves on to play at Defiance at 5 p.m. on May 21 for a sectional championship. On the bottom part of the bracket, Ashland hosts Celina at 5 p.m. on May 21 for a sectional championship. The winners of the two groups meet at 4:30 p.m. on May 26 at Tiffin’s Paradiso Athletic Complex in the district semifinals. The district championship is at 5 p.m. on May 28 at Oak Harbor and will feature the winner of the group of Maumee, Sandusky, Toledo Bowsher, Bowling Green and Holland Springfield.

Division IV District

The Shelby Whippets earned the No. 3 seed and will host No. 5 Clear Fork at 5 p.m. on May 20 for a sectional championship in a rematch of a two-game Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference series that saw the two teams split. The winner will take on the winner of No. 2 Bellevue and No. 7 Vermilion at 4:30 p.m. on May 27 at Willard in a district semifinal. The district championship is slated for 5 p.m. on May 29 at Archbold against the winner of No. 1 Millbury Lake, No. 3 Ottawa-Glandorf and No. 6 Rossford.

In the Willard district, the Galion Tigers took the No. 3 seed and will host No. 4 Elida at 5 p.m. on May 20 for a sectional championship. The winner moves on to take on the winner of No. 2 St. Mary’s Memorial and No. 7 Kenton at 4:30 p.m. at Fort Jennings in the district semifinals. The Ontario Warriors earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 6 Clyde at 5 p.m. on May 20 for a sectional championship. The winner moves on to play No. 1 Perkins at 2 p.m. on May 27 at Willard in a district semifinal. The district championship is slated for 5 p.m. on May 29 at Willard.

Division V District

The Willard Flashes took the No. 7 seed and will travel to No. 2 Oak Harbor at 2 p.m. on May 23 for a sectional championship game. The winner takes on the winner of No. 3 Margaretta and No. 6 Port Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on May 28 at Fremont Ross in the district semifinals. The district championship game is slated for 2 p.m. on May 30 at Bluffton against the winner of No. 1 Coldwater, No. 4 Eastwood and No. 5 Spencerville.

In the Northeast District, Black River earned the No. 8 seed and will host No. 15 Norwayne at 5 p.m. on May 22 for a sectional championship. The winner moves on to play the winner of No. 7 Revenna Southeast and No. 16 Burton Berkshire at 5 p.m. on May 27 at the better seed’s site in a district semifinal. The district championship is at 5 p.m. on May 29 at Mentor against the winner of No. 4 Tuslaw, No. 11 Chagrin Falls and No. 27 Clearview.

Division VI District

In the Division VI Shelby District, the Colonel Crawford Eagles took the No. 1 seed and will host No. 7 Bucyrus at 5 p.m. on May 22 for a sectional championship. The Wynford Royals were the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Western Reserve at 2 p.m. on May 23 in a sectional final. The winner of the two games will meet at 2 p.m. on May 27 at Shelby in a district semifinal matchup. The district championship is slated for 5 p.m. on May 29 at Shelby against the winner of No. 1 St. Henry, No. 8 Ada, No. 6 Rockford Parkway and N0. 7 Lima Perry.

In the Findlay District, Crestview will host New London at 2 p.m. on May 23 for a sectional championship. The Mansfield Christian Flames travel to Monroeville at 2 p.m. on May 23 for a sectional final. The winners of the two games will meet at 4:30 p.m. on May 27 at Shelby in a district semifinal. The district championship is slated for 5 p.m. on May 29 at Marathon Diamonds in Findlay against the winner of Carey, Riverdale, Seneca East and Woodmore.

In the Northeast District, Loudonville is the No. 27 seed and will travel to No. 6 Labrae at 5 p.m. on May 22 for a sectional championship. The winner moves on to play the winner of No. 10 Lisbon David Anderson and No. 12 Dalton in the district semifinal at the better seed’s site. The district championship is slated for 2 p.m. on May 29 at Cuyahoga Community College against the winer of No. 4 Independence, No. 13 New Middletown Springfield and No. 26 Oberlin.

In the Twinsburg District, Hillsdale took the No. 5 seed and will host No. 29 Mapleton at 5 p.m. on May 22 for a sectional championship. The winner moves on to play the winner of No. 17 Columbiana and No. 19 Rootstown at the better seed’s site in the district semifinals. The district championship game is at 5 p.m. on May 29 at Twinsburg against the winner of No. 2 Kirtland, No. 28 Richmond Heights, No. 16 East Canton and No. 23 Jackson-Milton.

Division VII District

The Plymouth Big Red took the No. 3 seed in the Elida District and will host No. 7 Crestline at 5 p.m. on May 22 for a sectional championship. The winner takes on the winner of No. 2 Ridgemont and No. 4 Mohawk at 4:30 p.m. on May 28 at Galion in a district semifinal. The district final is slated for 2 p.m. on May 30 at Elida against the winner of No. 1 Delphos St. John’s, Lima Temple Christian, New Knoxville and Delphos Jefferson.

The Lucas Cubs will host the Buckeye Central Bucks at 5 p.m. on May 22 in a sectional championship game. The winner moves on to play South Central at 2 p.m. on May 28 at Galion in the district semifinals. The district championship is slated for 5 p.m. on May 30 at Galion against the winner of Tiffin Calvert, Gibsonburg and Danbury.
