This week’s nominees are…

Lucas Brown, Livonia Churchill: Struck out four, closing out the final three innings of a 1-0 win over rival Franklin in baseball.

Logan McLaughlin, Livonia Franklin: Struck out five, pitching a complete game in during a 1-0 loss to rival Churchill in baseball.

Patrick Hughes, Birmingham Seaholm: Struck out four while collecting four hits and one RBI during a 10-3 win over North Farmington in baseball. Also scored one run and drove in a run during a 7-4 loss to the Raiders while also finishing with a hit and scoring one run in a 13-5 loss to Utica Ford.

Aydan Soper, Livonia Churchill: Finished 4 of 4 with a double and two RBI during a 7-3 win over rival Franklin in softball.

Makenna Goldman, Livonia Franklin: Was 2 of 4 batting with a triple and one RBI during a 7-3 loss to Churchill in softball.

Kennedy Hinkle, Livonia Stevenson: Smacked a bases-clearing triple and finished with three RBI to help the Spartans earn an 11-5 comeback win over Churchill in the City championship softball tournament finale.

Lizzy Ostrofsky, North Farmington: Over four softball games, finished 10 of 13 batting, scored 11 runs, drove in five runs and stole two bases, helping the Raiders go 3-1 for the week.

Ellyana Blume, Plymouth Christian Academy: Finished with a double and one RBi during a key 7-1 league victory over Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest in softball.

Brody Feldmaier, Birmingham United: Scored four goals in a 14-13 win over Lake Orion, helping his team win the Oakland Activities Association-Red boys lacrosse tournament championship.

Lexi Zamenski, White Lake Lakeland: The freshman hit her first career home run during a 12-1 win over Clarkston in softball.

Mary Blythe Teitsma, Birmingham Seaholm: Scored twice during an 8-0 win over North Farmington in girls soccer.
