The Michigan Department of Transportation will be resurfacing around 10 miles of I-75 in Otsego County starting on Wednesday, May 13.
According to MDOT, the $5.1 million project includes both directions from the I-75 Business Loop/South Otsego Avenue (Exit 279) in Gaylord to Exit 290 in Vanderbilt. The work also includes new rumble strips and pavement markings.
The project is split into two phases:
During construction, there will be single-lane closures with traffic shifts. One lane will remain open in each direction.
