The UC vs. Michigan State game in 2030 will be played at Nippert Stadium, which has a current capacity of roughly 40,000, including standing room tickets. Spartan Stadium capacity is 74,866.

The Bearcats are 1-1 all-time against the Spartans. They first played Michigan State in 1930, a 32-0 Spartan victory in East Lansing, before evening the series with an 18-7 road win in 1946. Cincinnati last played a Big Ten school in its 2025 opener against Nebraska in the Battle Sports Kansas City Classic at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium last Aug. 28. That game was attended by 72,884 fans.
