KIMBERLY – The Papermakers scored the game’s only run in the sixth inning on a home run by Lex Knaebe to defeat the Polar Bears in a Fox Valley Association matchup.

Beckett Hermus had two of the four hits for Kimberly.

Bryce Mischler started and went 4⅔ innings for Kimberly. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out four. Braeden Hermes pitched the final 2⅓ innings to get the win. He allowed one walk and struck out two.

Brody Kante had both of Hortonville’s hits, including a double.

Mason Burrichter took the loss for Hortonville, giving up a one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two in six innings.

Neenah 3, Appleton North 1

APPLETON – The Rockets scored one run in the third inning and two in the fifth inning in the Fox Valley Association victory over the Lightning.

Gus Weinholzer pitched a complete game for Neenah. He allowed five hits, one unearned run, walked two and struck out eight.

Mack Krause hit a solo home run for Neenah. Levi Boivin added a double for the Rockets, who had four hits.

Teegan Karpinske hit a double for Appleton North.

Owen Reuland pitched a complete game for the Lightning. He allowed four hits, three runs (one earned), walked three and struck out four.

Fond du Lac 7, Appleton West 6

APPLETON – The Cardinals scored twice in the seventh inning and then fended off a rally by the Terrors to get the win.

Kellin Gilbert and Quinn Meyers had three and two hits, respectively, for Appleton West. Gilbert had three RBIs.

Henry Ott allowed seven runs and took the loss for the Terrors.

Marinette 10, Wrightstown 4

WRIGHTSTOWN – Wyatt Stauss had four hits, including a double, and drove in four runs to lead the Marines to the win over the Tigers in a game where both teams committed five errors.

Chase MacGregor and Hunter Goldsmith both had two hits for Marinette.

Levi Hanson pitched six innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out eight to get the win for Marinette.

Jacob Miller took the loss for Wrightstown.

Oconto Falls 7, Freedom 1

OCONTO FALLS – Logan Berg had two hits and drove in three runs in the Panthers’ win over the Irish.

Oconto Falls took a 3-0 lead in the second inning and added four runs in the fourth inning to break open the game.

Teagan Tate and Carter Heroux each had two hits for Oconto Falls. Tate hit a three-run home run and Heroux had a solo home run.

Heroux pitched the first five innings and got the win for Oconto Falls. He allowed one run on six hits while striking out four.

Quinn Brennenstuhl, Carlton Romitti and Corey Mathison all had two hits for Freedom.

Ashwaubenon 15, Little Chute 4

ASHWAUBENON – The Jaguars scored five times in the second inning, two in the third and eight in the fourth in the nonconference win over the Mustangs.

Owen Amenson had four hits with three doubles for Ashwaubenon. Moxson Kernz had three hits and drove in four runs, while Kingston Vang and Andrew Jeske both had two hits.

Seymour 12, Winneconne 4

WINNECONNE – The Thunder scored runs in every inning but the fith in the win over the Wolves.

Seymour, which pounded out 17 hits, got four hits from both Romy Oskey and Xavier Salzman. Salzman and Oskey drove in four and two runs, respectively.

Carson Staffeldt and Cayden Staffeldt, along with Nolan Beilfuss, each had two hits. Beilfuss drove in two runs. Both Staffeldts scored three runs.

Brayden Banker started, pitched five innings and got the win for Seymour. Scott Sassman pitched the final two innings.

Noah Bouras took the loss for Winneconne.

Colson Kleinschmidt and Dallas Walker both had two hits for Winneconne. Halen Olson drove in two runs.

Menasha 14, Green Bay East/West 1

MENASHA – The Bluejays scored three runs in the first, six in the second and three in the third in the win over the Red Devils.

Menasha had nine hits and added eight Green Bay East/West walks into the offensive attack.

Grant Shaurette took the loss for Green Bay East/West.

St. Mary Catholic 2, Mishicot 0

FOX CROSSING – Ethan Plutz pitched a no-hitter for the Zephyrs in their win over Mishicot.

In pitching St. Mary Catholic to the win, Plutz walked two and struck out five.

Jacob Ernsting had two hits, including a double, and an RBI for St. Mary Catholic.

Brillion 9, Roncalli 1

BRILLION – Joe Shimek allowed one run on seven hits and one walk over 6 2/3 innings to lead the Lions to the win over the Jets.

Shimek struck out 10 and got credit for the win for Brillion. Landon Mathes got the game’s final out.

Shimek had three hits for Brillion, while Chase Braun had two hits and McCormick Zutz drove in two runs.

Sawyer Van Drisse had two hits for Roncalli.

Chilton 10, Two Rivers 2

TWO RIVERS – The Tigers scored six runs in the third inning to break open their game with the Raiders.

Chilton finished with 12 hits with Nathan Mueller and Kale Wagner both driving in three runs. Wagner had a pair of doubles for Chilton. Lucas Groeschel and Trent Beyer both had two hits.

Mueller pitched a complete game for Chilton. He allowed two unearned runs on three hits and one walk while striking out seven.

Ethan Schramm took the loss for Two Rivers.

Manitowoc Lutheran 15, Hilbert 12

HILBERT – The Lancers overcame a 10-9 deficit by scoring four runs in the sixth inning and two in the seventh to top the Wolves.

Beau Luebke and Collin Rounds both drove in three runs for Manitowoc Lutheran, which had 16 hits. Josiah Martin and Will Franzen both had three hits, while Isaiah Hochmuth and Luebke had two hits.

Hilbert finished with 14 hits.

Josiah Martin pitched four innings and got the win for Manitowoc Lutheran.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 7, Weyauwega-Fremont 4

WITTENBERG – The Chargers broke a 4-4 tie with a run in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth inning in the win over the Warhawks.

Carson Meverden led Wittenberg-Birnamwood with three hits, including a triple, two runs scored and three runs driven in.

Carson Meronk pitched the first four innings and got win for Wittenberg-Birnamwood.

SOFTBALL

Hortonville 17, Kimberly 6

KIMBERLY – Samantha D’Addario was 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs as the Polar Bears scored in every inning but one to cruise to the Fox Valley Association win.

Hortonville scored four runs in the first, two in the second, three in the fourth, one in the fifth, two in the sixth and five in the seventh.

Eileen Gassner, Evalyn Stanelle and Ella Vanderwielen each had two hits. Kyah Gass homered and drove in four runs.

The Papermakers got two runs in the third on a home run by Payton Schreiber, three in the fifth including a two-run home run by Paige Schreck, and one run in the sixth.

Sophie Hermus was 4-for-4, including two doubles, and had an RBI for Kimberly. Schreck and Breckan Luedke each had two hits, including a double for Luedke.

Grace Danoski pitched 2⅓ innings for the win. She allowed five hits, two runs and struck out six.

Fond du Lac 10, Appleton West 0

APPLETON – The Cardinals scored in five of the six innings en route to the Fox Valley Association win.

Fond du Lac led 3-0 after one inning, 5-0 after three, 6-0 after four and 9-0 after five.

Ali Raddatz led the Terrors with two hits.

Seymour 15, Menasha 0

SEYMOUR – The Thunder took charge from the start en route to the Bay Conference win.

Seymour scored four runs in the first, two in the second, two in the third and seven in the fourth.

Lyla Schueler was 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and three RBIs, while Adde Smith was 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Adding two hits each for the Thunder were Kendra Rettler, Ariana Brady, Monique Martinez, Jada Luben, Alexis Corn and Kaylee Rettler.

Kendra Rettler earned the win in the circle, pitching four innings and allowing one hit while striking out four

Shawano 13, Winneconne 6

WINNECONNE – The Hawks jumped out to a big early lead and held off the Wolves for the Bay Conference win.

Kadence Meyers had the hot bat for Shawano, going 4-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs, while Ayanna O’Kimosh was 3-for-5 with a double, triple and two RBIs. Adding two hits each were Amiyah O’Kimosh, Jaelyn Hietpas, Addison Gusick and Ava Wachtel.

Shawano scored six in the first, three in the fourth, one in the fifth, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.

Winneconne scored two in the first, one in the third, two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Audra Schaffer, Aubrey Mitchell and Grace Mitchell had two hits each for the Wolves. One of Schaffer and Grace Mitchell’s hits were doubles, while Avery Samolinski drove in three runs.

Oconto Falls 12, Little Chute 8

LITTLE CHUTE – The Panthers built a big early lead and held off the Mustangs to earn the North Eastern Conference win.

Oconto Falls scored four in the first, one in the second and three in the third. Little Chute closed to within 8-3 after four before the Panthers answered with two in the fifth and two in the sixth.

The Mustangs scored five times in the sixth, but that’s as close as they could get.

Izzy Otto had the hot bat for Oconto Falls, going 4-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, while Katelyn Kurek was 3-for-5 with one double. Getting two hits each were Emma Laughrin, Amelia Danielczak and Megan Kesler.

Little Chute was led by Bella Pfrang, who was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Freedom 13-19, Waupaca 3-11

FREEDOM – Kingsley Klug had five hits and eight RBIs in two games as she helped lead the Irish to the doubleheader sweep.

In Game 1, Freedom scored in all five innings en route to the North Eastern Conference win.

Addison Murphy was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, while Maddie Inger was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs and Klug was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Jessa McArtney earned the win in the circle, going five innings and allowing five hits, two earned runs and two walks while striking out four.

Liberty Pankow homered for the Comets.

In the nightcap, the Irish scored two in the second, four in the third, five in the fourth, three in the sixth and five in the seventh to outslug Waupaca.

Klug was 3-for-4 with two homers and six RBIs, while Kourtney Moeller was 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Waupaca scored one in the first and third, three in the fourth, two in the fifth, three in the sixth and one in the seventh.

Hailey Bechard led the Comets with three hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs, while Liberty Pankow was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs.

Clintonville 7, Marinette 6

CLINTONVILLE – The Truckers built a five-run lead and held off the Marines to earn the North Eastern Conference victory.

Clintonville led 3-0 after three and 5-0 after five. Marinette scored three in the sixth, but the Truckers answered with two in the bottom of the inning. The Marines scored three more in the seventh, but came up just short.

Clintonville was led by Marley Tauferner and Claire Papendorf, both with two hits. Papendorf and Payton Johnson added two RBIs each.

Remi Ahrndt and Lilly Anderson had two hits each for Marinette, including two RBIs. One of Ahrndt’s hits was a home run.

St. Mary Catholic 1, Mishicot 0

FOX CROSSING – Paxtyn Trinkner doubled and drove in the game’s only run in the sixth inning to power the Zephyrs to the Big East Conference win.

Sammi Weiss singled with two outs in the sixth for SMC. Trinkner then crushed the ball over the left fielder’s head all the way to the fence, with Weiss scoring from first base on the double.

Breanna Neubert also hit a double for St. Mary Catholic, which finished with four hits.

Gabby Guerrero earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing six hits while striking out two.

Mishicot got the first two runners on base in the seventh inning with singles. Lexie Thor then lined the ball to left field, but SMC’s Scarlet Reichenbacher caught the ball and threw out the runner at second base for a double play. Trinkner struck out the next batter to end the game.

Zaida Strupp doubled and Anna Cisler had two hits to lead the Mishicot offense.

Hilbert 6, Manitowoc Lutheran 5

HILBERT – The Wolves erased an early deficit and then held off the Lancers for the Big East Conference win.

Manitowoc Lutheran led 2-1 after one inning, but Hilbert answered to take a 4-2 lead after four. Both teams scored two runs in the sixth before the Lancers closed out the scoring with a single run in the seventh.

Hayden Svatek had four hits, including a double, and two RBIs for Manitowoc Lutheran.

Brillion 9, Valders 1

VALDERS – The Lions started fast and cruised to the Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.

Brillion scored two in the first, three in the second, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Valders scored its lone run in the fourth.

Kimberly won the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 8:20.86 and the distance medley with a time of 10:46.25.

Hortonville won the 800-meter SMR with a time of 1:36.30.

Appleton West’s Kegan Phalin took first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:35.77.

Neenah’s Owen Fox won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :41.19.

Kaukauna’s Hunter Meyers won the shot put with a toss of 51-7.

Sophia Scherwinski of Appleton North won the 1,600-meter final with a time of 5.19.57. Isabel Parrish won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :46.42. Ashley Parrish won the long jump with a jump of 18-7.50.

Neenah’s Emma Severson won the shot put and discus with a shot put toss of 45-3.75 and a discus throw of 152-7.

Kaukauna’s Asha LyBuoalong won the pole vault at a height of 11-0.

Hortonville’s Norah Eidahl won the high jump with a jump of 5-4. Hortonville won the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:48.12.

Green Bay East’s A’shon Wolfe won the 200- and 400-meter dashes with times of :23.95 and :55.52, respectively.

Winneconne’s Dakota Schonscheck was a double winner, taking first in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :19.14 and :46.90, respectively. Brody Schaffer won the triple jump with a jump of 41-8.5 and the 100-meter dash with a time of :10.91.

Xavier won eight individual events and three relay events with Kayla Fournillier the Hawks’ lone double winner. Fournillier won the 100-meter dash with a time of :12.86 and the triple jump with a jump of 32-1.75.

KIMBERLY – The Papermakers raced to a 3-0 lead and hung on for the victory in a battle of highly-ranked Fox Valley Association teams.

Ashlyn Krueger scored two goals and Kaylee Behnke added another for Kimberly (9-0, 3-0 Fox Valley Association), which is ranked second overall (regardless of division) by maxpreps.com.

Appleton North (11-2, 4-1), ranked eighth, had goals from Claire Zulewski and Ava Wickesberg.

Luxemburg-Casco 6, Fox Valley Lutheran 0

LUXEMBURG – Aaliyah Wallace scored four goals, while Emi Kuhn added one goal and three assists and Kilee Barbiaux added a goal and two assists as the Spartans blanked the Foxes. Claire Marohl also had an assist.

Teagan Gunderson had two saves for the Spartans, while Adrianna Boutott had seven saves for FVL.
