Ten teams from Section V are listed in the latest New York state girls lacrosse rankings, as the regular season reaches its penultimate week.
Biggest rise: Penfield, Fairport and Honeoye Falls-Lima all moved up two spots in their respective classification. The Cougars have been the lone Section V team listed in Class C for several weeks and are riding a six-game win streak.
Biggest fall: Mercy dropped four spots in Class B despite wins in five of its last six games. The Monarchs close out the regular season with matchups against three state-ranked teams.
