Jackson Fossitt, Leslie baseball
The Kentucky commit contributed to the Blackhawks sweeping Jonesville and Stockbridge in doublehaders. Fossitt went 4-for-5 with three doubles during a doubleheader sweep of Jonesville on Friday, May 1. He struck out 11 in 5 1/3 innings in a 5-0 win in the opener of the twinbill. Fossitt had a home run while contributing to a doubleheader sweep of Stockbridge on Thursday, April 30
Raymond Herek, Williamston track and field
Herek contributed to the Hornets winning their own invitational on Friday, May 1. The senior was the champion in the 1,600 with a time personal-best time of 4:24.65 and won the 3,200 in 10:16.96. His 1,600 time is the fourth-best in Greater Lansing this spring.
Gertit Koot, Mason baseball
The junior threw a no-hitter while helping the Bulldogs sweep Tecumseh in a doubleheader. He retired the final 21 batters after an error on the opening play of the game and struck out six in seven innings in Mason’s 1-0 win.
