New Dolce by Wyndham hotel opens in Tarrytown near Sleepy Hollow

Wyndham Hotels has opened a new location in Tarrytown, designed to capture the historic charm of Hudson Valley river towns in New York.

The property operates under Wyndham’s boutique-style Dolce brand, known for its “thoughtful design” rooted in the character and culture of each destination. The Tarrytown opening is part of a broader expansion that also includes new locations in Miami Beach, Florida, and Palm Springs, California, adding to Wyndham’s portfolio of more than 8,300 hotels worldwide.

“At the heart of the Dolce brand are hotels rooted in their destinations, with experiences shaped by place, design and how people want to travel today,” said Leo Danese, Wyndham’s vice president of upscale and lifestyle brands. “As the brand expands, we’re growing in high-demand destinations that leave a lasting impression while delivering consistent, high-quality stays.”

The Sleepy Hollow-area property draws inspiration from the historic estates and luxury homes along the Hudson River, incorporating rustic wood and stone accents to reflect the region’s natural beauty and culture.

The property sits on an 11-acre estate about 30 minutes from New York City. It features 244 guest rooms and suites, an indoor pool, fitness center and Hudson Bistro, a ballroom-sized restaurant.

The hotel also includes more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including one of the largest ballrooms in Westchester County.

The Lower Hudson Valley offers a range of attractions and seasonal events. The hotel is located minutes from Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate; Lyndhurst Mansion; and Sunnyside, the home of author Washington Irving.

The property also offers convenient access to New York City via Interstate 87, Interstate 287 and Metro-North stations.
