Canton Chamber honors 5 small businesses making a regional impact

CANTON – The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce has honored five small businesses for making a positive impact on the region.

Evan Industries, SoL Harris/Day Architecture, DeliverThat, Puffy Pop, and ReliaRide were special guests as part of the “Small Business Celebration” event held April 29 at CommQuest in Canton. The event reimagined and replaced the chamber’s former Business Excellence Awards.

“We developed new categories and criteria, re-assembled a selection committee and developed an event to bring some energy and fun,” Darla Brown, vice president of marketing and membership strategy, said in an email. “We wanted to build on the tradition of the Business Excellence Awards but bring a fresh approach and a little more personality.”
