It’s been an active offseason for the Indianapolis Colts. Now with the 2026 NFL draft behind us, let’s recap all that took place.
Particularly on the defensive side of the football, we saw quite a bit of roster turnover as GM Chris Ballard prioritized getting younger and faster.
In total, Ballard would make 10 outside free agent signings, while also acquiring Colby Wooden in a trade. Several of the Colts’ own free agents signed elsewhere, while Zaire Franklin and Michael Pittman were traded away.
While Ballard prioritized re-signing Daniel Jones — along with Alec Pierce — believing that the success had through 10 games last season can be replicated, this is far from a run-it-back season. A lot of changes to the roster have taken place.
The big question now is, how much have the Colts improved?
Offseason additions during free agency period
Free agency departures
Free agents re-signed by Colts
Colts’ 2026 NFL draft class
Colts reported undrafted free agent signings after 2026 NFL draft
**The Colts have not yet confirmed these signings.
