Motorists traveling through Hudson take note: Two construction projects starting May 4 could cause delays.
The Prospect Road bridge is over the Ohio Turnpike is closing for 180 days. The Ohio Turnpike Commission is replacing the bridge deck.
The detour for this project will be East Hines Hine Road to state Route 91.
The second project involves striping removal and re-striping work on West Streetsboro Street, between Boston Mills Road and Atterbury Boulevard. Initial work will include the removal of existing pavement markings and re-striping along state Route 303.
The restriping work will take place on weekdays during nighttime hours, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., and is expected to last around three weeks.
Crews will use appropriate lighting and follow noise control and safety measures to help minimize impacts on nearby homes and businesses.
At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, with minor delays anticipated.
