Josh Kattus, son of TE Eric, joins Bengals as undrafted free agent

Josh Kattus, a former Moeller High School standout and the son of former Bengals tight end Eric Kattus, is among Cincinnati’s undrafted free-agent signings.

The Kattus signing was first reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Kattus had 505 receiving yards on 38 catches with six touchdowns over the past four seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Eric Kattus, a former Colerain High School standout, had 698 receiving yards on 66 catches with five TDs over six seasons for the Bengals from 1986 to 1991. Kattus scored a touchdown in the Bengals’ 41-14 playoff win against Houston on January 6, 1991.

Josh’s brother, Justin, played at St. Xavier before following Josh to UK. Their younger brother, Tucker, who also played at St. X, is an offensive lineman at Clemson.
