The New York Jets followed up their praiseful efforts in Round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft with another day that was similar.
The Jets made a trade down on Day 2 of the draft. New York down from the No. 44 selection to No. 50 in a trade with the Detroit Lions.
That still left the Jets with just one pick to be made during Round 2-3, but it was still one that gave the team positive reviews. Indiana cornerback D’Angelo Ponds was the selection and many in the NFL world loved the move.
