Highlights of new Packers CB Brandon Cisse

The Green Bay Packers selected South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse with the 52nd overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. The selection gives the Packers a young, athletic cornerback to develop into a future starter on the perimeter.

Cisse, a 20-year-old who ran 4.41 in the 40-yard dash at his pro day, transferred to South Carolina in 2025 and produced six pass breakups and an interception over 12 starts. He spent his first two seasons at North Carolina State, where he played snaps as a true freshman and then was a nine-game starter as a true sophomore. Over 589 career coverage snaps over three seasons, Cisse allowed only 43 catches and 661 receiving yards. In 2025, he gave up only 18 catches.

Two big things from the highlights: Cisse has legitimate reactive quickness and recovery speed. Those are important traits that all NFL cornerbacks must have. And for a 189-pound corner, he is not only willing but completely capable of disrupting plays against the run. There are multiple reps where Cisse beats a block and stops a play.
