Another transfer guard is officially a Cincinnati Bearcat as Trevian Carson signed April 24 for the 2026-27 season.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Carson will have one year of eligibility remaining after playing last season at North Dakota State. His signing took place just four days after he committed to Jerrod Calhoun and the Bearcats April 20.
“Trevian is another guy who knows what winning looks like,” Calhoun said. “He played for an NCAA Tournament team and was guided by a tremendous coach. Trevian can play multiple positions and is really good in pick and roll situations and playing off the ball.”
Carson, from West Des Moines, Iowa, was an All-Summit League First Team selection after averaging 11.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for the Bison, who won the Summit League regular-season and tournament titles en route to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Carson scored in double figures 20 times, including a season-high 29 at Drake in December. For the year, Carson shot 48.0% from the field, 37.5% from the 3-point line, and 80.3% from the free-throw line.
Before North Dakota State, Carson played two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College, earning ICCAS Player of the Year and first team NJCAA All-America honors as a sophomore in 2025, when he averaged 14.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Carson had 11 points and seven rebounds in North Dakota State’s NCAA Tournament loss to Michigan State on March 19.
