The Peach Cobbler Factory is officially opening in the capital city. The dessert shop, housed at 1660 W. Tennessee St., is hosting a soft opening May 9 and they say they’re not only opening, but they’re coming to “take over dessert in Tallahassee.”
This isn’t the only new food spot that’s opening on West Tennessee Street as a hot pot spot is coming to the former Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi and Tex-Mex restaurant, Barrio Burrito Bar has officially opened its doors in February.
The Peach Cobbler Factory offers cobblers, milkshakes, cookies and more on its menu started as a food truck in 2013. It started opening brick and mortar locations in 2021 and has become a national attraction with over 100 locations.
“It’s a Southern thang,” its slogan says.

The possibilities are endless at The Peach Cobbler Factory where the sweet fruit is combined with a number of flavors and techniques to make every treat possible.
Starting with the “fresh baked daily” cobblers of course, it offers over 12 flavors to choose from ranging from the classic option, hence the name, to the “Sweet Potato Pecan” flavor.
Thick cookies also come in flavors of “Oreo Crunch,” salted caramel, red velvet and more.
If you’re not feeling a cobbler or cookie, you can grab a pudding or either its 12 options of “Big Cobbler Cookies” or 12 “Cobbler Shakes.”
You can even get a “Dessert Flight” to try any four puddings and cobblers.
The rest of the menu is filled with “Pudd-N-Shakes,” “Bigger & Better Brownies,” Cinnamon Rolls,” churro stix and Belgian waffles.
