Two people injured in attack on Green Bay's east side

Two people were injured April 20 in an attack on Green Bay’s east side, police said.

Green Bay police responded to the attack around 5:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Edgewood Drive. A 23-year-old man and 26-year-old woman both from Green Bay had cuts from an “edged weapon” and were taken to a local hospital, the police department said.

A 29-year-old Green Bay man, who authorities said knew the victims, was arrested following a traffic stop around 8:30 a.m. and taken to Brown County Jail.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call the police department at 920-448-3200 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 920-432-STOP.
