Daleville softball player Breyanna Wagner has been voted The Star Press East Central Indiana high school Athlete of the Week, brought to you by IU Health.

Wagner went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in four RBIs with an inside-the-park grand slam to lead Daleville to a 22-0 win over Randolph Southern on Monday, April 6.
Wagner received 10,740 out of 25,207 votes (42.61%). This week’s runner-up was Presley Durr of Wes-Del softball, who garnered 7,118 votes (28.24%).
Students in all varsity sports are eligible to be nominated and can only be named Athlete of the Week one time per season, per sport. Athletes from one school cannot win more than three consecutive weeks.
