When it comes to toys and treats, Bolt’s not fussy. Tennis balls? He’s there to chase, fetch and return them. Also loves soft and rubber toys, especially if they make a noise. Bolt, a Shepherd/Husky mix, is famous for his close proximity to humans, manifested as epic leans. His party-animal vibe makes him an ideal doggy date since he loves people and behaves on leash walks. Following outdoor explorations, Bolt likes nothing more than plopping on a lap for a relaxing cuddle. Why not bolt to SPCA Florida to escort this energetic canine on an outing followed by a permanent invitation to his forever home?

Memphis, a city in Tennessee and Egypt, is also the name of a Labrador retriever at SPCA Florida, whose perpetual motion demeanor is legendary. She’s a live-in-the-moment pooch who’s first in line for adventure. Even though Memphis is an adult chronologically, her enthusiasm is typical of puppies exploring their world. When she needs to recharge her batteries, Memphis will dial into another fave pastime ― cuddling. She would assimilate best into an adult-only home where she can share her love, loyalty and enthusiasm for life. Meet Memphis to hear her bucket list and then zoom into your home.

Poppy

If you see a black and white cat at SPCA Florida who’s perched on top of a cat tree, chances are good it’s Poppy, a domestic shorthair female. You can lure her off her perch by waving a laser light for her to chase or some catnip to whet her appetite. While earthbound, Poppy also relaxes by grooming other kitties. Her bestie was adopted so now Poppy is waiting for her exit from the shelter sine she’s been there since last May. Make her wish come true and tap into her affectionate nature today.

Henry

Breed: Domestic Longhair

Gender: Male

Age: 4 years

Adoption Fee: $150

If you’re visiting SPCA Florida’s Tinker’s Legacy Cattery and see a kitty wearing a red and white dotted bowtie, you’ve met Henry. During his short life, Henry’s overcome health issues, but that doesn’t interfere with his glass-half-full love for people and felines. His sweet nature endears him to visitors and may result in his jumping on an available lap for some stress-busting strokes. Even though he’s FIV+, Henry can enjoy all of his nine lives as long as he visits a veterinarian every year. Stop by soon to take Henry and his signature fashion statement home.
