Crivitz woman dies in Marinette County UTV crash

A Crivitz woman died in a UTV crash April 4, according to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.

Brooke Boulanger, 40, was headed north on Caldron Falls Road when she rolled the UTV about 3 p.m. April 4 near Fawn Lane in the town of Stephenson, according to the sheriff’s office.

An off-duty Marinette County detective saw two people pinned under the UTV and started providing aid.

Boulanger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt or helmet and was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said.

A passenger in the UTV also didn’t wear a seatbelt and helmet and was taken to a hospital for injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office said speed and alcohol were also involved in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
