Two people on a motorcycle died after a crash in the 5400 block of South Bell Street in Amarillo Friday evening, authorities said.
Amarillo Police Department officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle around 6:04 p.m. April 3 at 54th Avenue and South Bell Street.
Police said a motorcycle was heading north when it collided with a pickup, which had been turning east onto 54th Avenue.
The motorcycle’s driver, Steven Tobias Guzman, 57, died at the scene. Next of kin were notified.
Police said in an update that a passenger on the motorcyle who had life-threatening injuries, identified as Debbie Michelle Guzman, 50, also died.
The pickup driver and passenger had non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Squad is investigating the crash.

Another crash on April 3, on South Bell and the I-40 South Frontage Road, left three people injured.
Amarillo officers were sent to that intersection around 12:34 a.m. for a major crash. Preliminary information indicates a sedan traveling east on the frontage road entered the intersection and struck another sedan traveling south on Bell.
One adult driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two additional occupants were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
APD’s Traffic Investigation Squad is also investigating that incident.
