After a few soft opening days, Cheese Nuts Fast-Fired Pizza is preparing to officially open on Wednesday, April 1.
It marks the beginning of a new chapter for Kyle Gorman, who previously operated Cheese Nuts Pizzeria & Wood-Fired Wings at Junction City shopping center in Peoria. The location closed its doors roughly four years back.
“I hope you enjoy what we’ve worked so hard to create for you,” a March 26 post on the business’ Facebook page noted.

Where is Cheese Nuts Fast-Fired Pizza located?
Cheese Nuts is situated at 126 N. Davenport St. in Metamora.
“Thank you for your support, I look forward to creating a hometown pizzeria,” a March 23 Facebook post noted following a final health inspection.
Inside the storefront, customers will find a cozy space with limited seating. The goal, according to the business’ page, is to eventually add outdoor seating behind the building.

A menu posted to Facebook includes a variety of 13-inch specialty pizzas, calzones, garlic cheese sticks, dessert and drinks. It lists specialty pizzas such as:

On March 28, Cheese Nuts Fast-Fired Pizza thanked all those who had turned out for the soft openings. The post noted in part: “You are the reason I do this and I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my dream come true.”
