Visit Lubbock will welcome the Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association back to the Hub City for its annual meeting and cotton trade show April 9–10 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
As a long-standing hub of the Cotton Belt, Lubbock has hosted the TCGA annual conference since 1980, bringing together leaders and innovators from across the cotton industry, according to a news release from Visit Lubbock.
This year’s event is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees from across the country for two days of demonstrations, networking, and exhibits from industry-leading providers showcasing the latest advancements in cotton ginning and production technology.
Recognized as the largest trade show in the United States dedicated exclusively to the cotton ginning industry, the event provides a valuable opportunity for professionals to collaborate and address shared challenges.
Aaron Nelsen, Communication & Special Projects Manager of the Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association, shared his enthusiasm for returning to Lubbock, noting the city’s strong connection to the industry and its ability to bring people together.
“We are excited to once again bring the cotton industry together here in Lubbock,” Nelsen said. “Hosting an event of this size in person creates meaningful opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth. The trade show offers vendors a platform to introduce new and innovative technology that supports the future of the industry.”
The trade show is designed to meet the diverse needs of the nation’s cotton ginning industry.
Exhibitors include gin machinery manufacturers, insurance providers, parts and supply companies, energy suppliers, workforce and compliance vendors, cottonseed companies, irrigation providers, and building specialists, along with manufacturers of other related products.
Select booths will also offer merchandise for purchase. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.tcga.org.
The event will run: Thursday, April 9, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday, April 10, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
