A vehicle caught fire in a two-vehicle crash that closed a portion of Loop 375 near William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso police said.
The collision occurred about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, on northbound Loop 375 near Iron Medics Drive north of Montana Avenue, police spokesman Officer Adrian Cisneros said.
There were reports that one of the vehicles caught fire, Cisneros said. The number of injuries was not immediately available.
The northbound lanes of Loop 375 were closed as of 3 p.m. with the freeway closed at Montana Avenue and traffic backed up to Edgemere Boulevard, the El Paso Police Department’s traffic account on X reported.
An investigation continued Tuesday afternoon.
