Already this year, dozens of new restaurants have opened across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, from the city’s historic districts of Five Points, San Marco and Springfield, to the Beaches, to the Town Center, Baymeadows, Mandarin, northern St. Johns County and more.
And several notable restaurants have closed, including Bellwether, Bahama Breeze, Joe’s Crab Shack and more.

That’s a lot to keep up with. But each week, in our free Dining Notes newsletter, we bring you the latest restaurant openings and closings, plus a look at what’s on the horizon of Jacksonville’s dining scene, based on our reporting from talking with local restaurateurs, chefs and franchisees and searching public records.
