The fatal crash at LaGuardia Airport in New York will affect at least 11 flights to and from Palm Beach International Airport on Monday, March 23.
Two Air Canada pilots died when the nose of their jet struck a firetruck on the airport’s runway. A total of 41 passengers and crew members received care at hospitals after the wreck late on Sunday, March 22. The plane had traveled to New York from Montreal.
Transportation officials say LaGuardia will be closed at least until 2 p.m. Anyone traveling to LaGuardia today from PBIA should contact their airlines for updates prior to arriving at the airport.
According to PBIA’s website, canceled flights to LaGuardia include:
