The Shasta County Office of Education announced the winners of the 2026 Shasta County Teachers of the Year awards.
Recognition goes to three educators, one each from the elementary, middle and high school levels, the office of education said in the announcement.

The California Teachers of the Year program celebrates the efforts of educators by honoring their accomplishments, dedication and professional growth, SCOE said. The program aims to recognize exemplary teachers who meet the challenge and complexity of evolving educational needs.
SCOE assists the program with the county teachers of the year selections.
The winners are guests of honor at the annual Shasta County Office of Education Educator Appreciation Dinner this spring. It is an event designed to recognize and celebrate the contributions of educators, SCOE officials said.
