Highlighting local businesses and culture, QVC will showcase the city to its viewership.

“This broadcast is a powerful opportunity to highlight the creativity, hospitality, and iconic experiences that make Palm Springs like no place else,” Gary Forsyth, director of Palm Springs tourism for Visit Greater Palm Springs, said in a news release.

QVC, which stands for “Quality Value Convenience,” is a TV and free streaming shopping network that can be seen around the world. Products can be directly purchased from its website or by phone.

This is the second time in the last two years a national TV network has broadcast from the Coachella Valley. In November 2024, “LIVE with Kelly and Mark” filmed a week’s worth of shows from the Westin Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage.

The talk show highlighted various aspects of the region as hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos brought their signature charm.

The QVC experience will likely be different, as the network focuses on the sale of products rather than lifestyle.

Palm Springs officials plan to declare Monday, March 2 as “QVC Day.”

“Palm Springs is a place where style, sunshine, and innovation come together. We’re excited to have QVC broadcast live from our city and share the special Palm Springs energy with the nation,” Mayor Naomi Soto said in a news release.
