One of the state’s top junior football prospects has his top six schools and official visits set.
Franklin Central junior defensive end Jayce Brewer, a four-star prospect and rated as the No. 4 in-state prospect on the 247sports composite list, said he has the following official visits planned:
The 6-5, 240-pound Brewer finished last season with 31 tackles, including nine for a loss, with 2½ sacks. In his two seasons at Franklin Central, he has 69 tackles, 21 TFLs and 5½ sacks. Brewer also played tight end as a junior, catching 14 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown.
Brewer had many more offers beyond those six schools, including from Florida, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Penn State, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M and USC.
