As Iowa basketball (19-8, 9-7 Big Ten) prepares for a crucial Wednesday night matchup against Ohio State (17-10, 9-7 Big Ten) at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, both the Hawkeyes and Buckeyes have revealed their conference-mandated game-day injury reports.
As has been the case in the previous handful of Hawkeyes’ injury reports, freshman guard Peyton McCollum (season-ending foot injury) is the lone name listed.
However, Ohio State faces a much more complicated injury issue heading into tonight’s matchup.
According to the Buckeyes’ side of the injury report, senior center Christoph Tilly (11.3 ppg.; 42.2% shooting), senior forward Brandon Noel (7.4 ppg.; 64.3% shooting), and senior forward Josh Ojianwuna (No 2025-26 Stats) are out tonight.
Most notably, junior guard and second-leading scorer, John Mobley Jr. (15.1 ppg.; 42.2% shooting) is listed as questionable.
Freshman guard Myles Herro (Not 2025-26 Stats) is also listed as “out for season” for the Buckeyes.
The Hawkeyes and Buckeyes tip off tonight at Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 8 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network, with major implications for both programs’ Big Ten Tournament seeding and potential NCAA Tournament hopes on the line.
