Where Wisconsin stands in NCAA NET Rankings after Iowa win

Wisconsin basketball continues to strengthen its position in NCAA Tournament bracket projections.

After falling on the road at Ohio State last week, the Badgers added an impressive Quad 1 win to their resume on Sunday by defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes (NCAA NET No. 28) 84-71. Notably, Wisconsin (19-8, 11-5 Big Ten) is just one game out of position for a double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament.

More importantly, the Badgers possess a well-rounded resume as they enter the final stretch of the regular season. The team’s 11 conference wins include defining triumphs over then-No. 2 Michigan, No. 8 Illinois and No. 10 Michigan State. Those wins represent three of the team’s five against Quad 1 opponents, a key metric for NCAA Tournament seeding.

The NCAA NET rankings give a good indication of how Wisconsin’s resume stacks up against the rest of the sport. Here is where the team is projected following its statement home win over Iowa.
