The Fin & Flame Grill and Oyster Bar owners have closed the Palm City restaurant after serving the community for 31 years.
The partners wanted to retire and spend more time with family, owner Jeff Schilling told TCPalm.
Their two-generation restaurant, previously known as Palm City Grill, served Palm City for 29 years before rebranding as Fin & Flame in 2023. It closed Feb. 14.
Fin & Flame was affiliated with the Prawnbroker Restaurant Group, which runs sister restaurants The Black Marlin in Stuart, Shrimpers Grill & Raw Bar in Stuart, and the Magic Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill in Jensen Beach.
Jimmy Fantin, who owns Fantini’s Italian Restaurant in Stuart, is taking over the space and promises a fusion concept and elevated dining that will be new to the Treasure Coast. He said he would give TCPalm more details later.
