How to nominate 25 Women You Need to Know
The Tallahassee Democrat’s Women’s History Month tradition marks its 20th year in 2026, with a tally of 530 women honored. A generation of dedicated, talented and altruistic women and young women have accomplished big things since it started in 2006. This year marks the 12th year of the Young Women category, added in 2014.
Who do you know behind the scenes or on the front lines, keeping the good work going in Tallahassee above and beyond their job?
Once all the nominations are in on Feb. 22 at 5 p.m., the judges take on the challenging task of finding the best of the best. Check out past winners at tallahassee.com/25women.
Go to data.tallahassee.com/nominate-25-women and fill out the short nomination form. Your nomination form matters, so make sure you detail all of the volunteer and community service work your nominee has contributed beyond her career. Show the judges through your words what an asset she is to Tallahassee.
