Love is in the air, Cincinnati! Ohioans finally made their way into the pods, and we’ve gotten some juicy details from a Cincinnati resident and contestant on Netflix’s hit reality dating show “Love Is Blind.”
It wasn’t totally Connor Spies’ idea to join the reality TV dating show. The 32-year-old account manager told The Enquirer his two sisters signed him up for “Love Is Blind” because he “hadn’t had much luck dating a couple years prior to the show.”
Spies also revealed his ideal first date in Cincinnati.
“I like Delwood. And then if things are going well, maybe get a drink or two at Mount Lookout Tavern right after,” he said.
Delwood is a casual, neighborhood bar and restaurant located in the heart of Linwood. The eatery offers classic burgers, fries, fried chicken, sandwiches, cocktails and more. After dining, lovebirds can mosey over to Mount Lookout Tavern, just a stone’s throw from Delwood, to finish the night with drinks.
