Detroit — Hundreds ran in their underwear and other scanty attire during an annual fundraiser for charity on Valentine’s Day.
The Cupid’s Undie Run has been happening since 2010, billing itself as the nation’s largest pantless party and nearly mile-long run for charity.
The run started at noon at Tin Roof Detroit, 47 E. Adams Avenue near Comerica Park downtown, and ran till 4 p.m.
While there was still a chill in the air early Saturday, the temperature rose to the mid-40s by mid-afternoon.
The event raised awareness of neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and raised money for NF research through the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
