Once North Carolina State (16-7, 9-3) was up by double-digits, Florida State women’s basketball (7-16, 2-9 ACC) couldn’t find any answers, resulting in an 83-55 defeat over the Wolfpack on Thursday at Reynolds Coliseum.
For two straight games, FSU has been outscored 160-113 on the road at Clemson and at NC State. Right from the jump, NC State had an 11-0 run and kept building a comfortable 52-23 lead before the half.

On the positive side, Avery Treadwell came off the bench and led with her career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jasmine Shavers added 10 points and four steals.
NC State was led by sophomore guard Zamareya Jones as she dropped 25 points and six rebounds. Three more starters were in double figures. Zoe Brooks added 14 points.
Khamil Pierre, a 6-foot-2 forward, also had a double-double with 11 points and 18 rebounds. Tilda Trygger scored 10 points.
