De Pere woman wins $125,000 playing a lottery game

A De Pere woman won $125,000 after buying a Holly Jolly Raffle lottery ticket at a Kwik Trip in Bellevue.

Iride Luehr bought the ticket from the Kwik Trip at 2618 Monroe Road. She claimed the winnings Dec. 15 at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Milwaukee. Luehr’s ticket was one of 150,000 sold in the state.

The limited time Holly Jolly Raffle launched Oct. 24. Each raffle ticket cost $5. Luehr’s winning numbers — 062999 — were drawn Dec. 11, after tickets sold out on Dec. 10.

While Luehr won the sole top prize, 78 others won $1,000 and 1,750 tickets won $100, according to a Wisconsin Lottery news release. Players have 180 days to claim the prize since Dec. 11. Details on how to claim are at wilottery.com.

Because the Kwik Trip in Bellevue sold a winning ticket over $599, it will receive a 2% Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, which in this case is $2,500.
