These developments had a significant impact on Livingston in 2025

Each year, The Daily publishes two brief series in November and December. In the past, we’ve written about our own family traditions, our favorite winter destinations, and particularly notable nonprofits.

This year, I asked reporters to highlight a development they felt was particularly impactful to our readership in 2025. We’ve compiled those stories for your perusal here, from a long-awaited craft store (alongside a list of local offerings), to the much-anticipated opening of Jonna’s B-Line Bar and Grill, to the launch of Livingston County’s first pay-what-you-can café.

For our upcoming series, reporters will highlight developments and projects coming in 2026 that, likewise, will have a hefty impact on Livingston County. We hope you’ll stay tuned.
