Thirteen boys soccer players from the Mid-Hudson region were named all-New York State by the United Soccer Coaches, nine for large schools and four for small.
Newburgh Free Academy had four players named to the large-school team: senior forwards Piero Altamirano and Chase Marshall; and, junior midfielders Ian Enamorando-Garcia and Justin Saravia.
Cornwall had senior goalkeeper Brett Zimmer and junior midfielder Aaron Schulman.
Three additional large-school choices include Kingston senior forward Keegan Oxford; Rondout Valley senior forward Oleh Shulha; and, John Jay-East Fishkill senior midfielder Justin Ortiz.
The local small-school choices are John S. Burke Catholic senior midfielder Ryan Konarski; Mount Academy senior midfielder Michael Meier; Spackenkill senior midfielder Nathanial Stout; and, Rhinebeck senior defender Hunter Szabo.
