Indian Canyon Drive reopens in Palm Springs after 6-day closure

North Indian Canyon Drive at the wash in Palm Springs has reopened after an extended closure.

The Palm Springs Police Department announced at 8:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, that the road had reopened. It had been closed since the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 15, due to flooding.

Construction of a bridge over the Union Pacific rail line on North Indian Canyon Drive had also caused part of the road to be closed part of this week. The city had previously announced the portion of the road over the railroad tracks would be closed until Thursday, Nov. 20.
