Iowa football’s final home game of the season will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 22, the Hawkeyes announced late Saturday night.

Iowa will play Michigan State in the 2025 Kinnick Stadium finale. The game will be televised by FS1.

The Spartans are just 3-7 overall and have yet to win a Big Ten game this season. They were victorious in their first three games, all against non-conference opponents, but have since lost seven in a row. Six of those seven losses came by double digits.

After going on a three-game winning streak, Iowa has now lost two games in a row. Oregon kicker Atticus Sappington nailed a game-winning field goal to propel the Ducks over the Hawkeyes. Then Iowa blew a two-touchdown lead en route to a 26-21 loss at USC.

The Hawkeyes are 6-4 overall, including 4-3 in Big Ten play. Iowa’s four losses this season have come by a combined 15 points (Iowa State by three, Indiana by five, Oregon by two and USC by five).

Michigan State got the better of Iowa last season. The Hawkeyes allowed the Spartans to put up 468 yards of total offense in a disappointing 32-20 road loss. Iowa has a chance to deliver a different outcome in front of its home fans on Nov. 22.
