South Bay Lakers recap: G League Lakers defeat Suns again

On Saturday, the South Bay Lakers started their 2025-26 schedule with a 144-105 rout of the Valley Suns. Both teams were back at it again on Sunday at UCLA Health Training Center, and the outcome wasn’t that much different this time.

They started off by establishing a modest lead in the first quarter, and they broke things open by outscoring the Suns 45-28 in the second quarter to take a 70-49 halftime lead. While the Suns chopped down their deficit somewhat in the second half, South Bay was still able to prevail, 123-113.
